Matthew 7:12 says, “Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” How fitting that this word of the day, fits the occasion and celebration of MLK Jr. Day. Thank the Lord for his contribution to humanity.
I am enjoying a hot cup of coffee and perusing through my ALL YOU magazine! I am off work and I just wanted to take some time to enjoy my morning. I love starting my days with coffee and a good devotional. God is so worthy, merciful and WONDER-FULL!!
Sitting here. Thinking. Contemplating. Reflecting on what it was like- the days I spent with you before marriage, before kids, before knowing how busy this life would get.
Glorying in You. I am so grateful. SO grateful. I just wanted to take a moment to sit down with You, my worship music on iTunes playing, and a coffee in my hand. YOU are so wonderful. I am holding back tears even in this moment, reflecting on Your goodness. How could I not serve You? How could I not give my life to You in Action, in Thought, and in Deed? I give You my all.
The songs says:
“He is GOD of ALL- He is everything.”
“The faith it takes to PRAY and SEEK. From the painted sky, to my plank-filled eye. I’m giving my life to the only One who makes the moon reflect the sun. Every starry night, that was His design. I’m giving my life to the only Son, who Was, and is, and Yet to Come (Revelation 1:8). Let the praises ring, because HE is everything.”
“I’m giving it all to the only Son, who gave me HOPE when I had none.”
I LOVE YOU ABBA- YOU FIRST LOVED ME. YOU LOVE ME. YOU LOVE ME.
